« I could see all the continents.Waves were crashing onto their shores. Each went onto a continent, then receded, then came up further until it covered the continent completely […] The waves became young people […] covering the continents. They were talking to people on street corners and outside bars. They were going from house to house. They were preaching.« ( Loren Cunningham, from the book « Is that really you, God ? »)Loren Cunningham
Back when we began in 1960, our main focus was to get youth involved in missions. Today, we still focus on youth, and we also involve people aged 8 to 80. One of the joys of participating in YWAM is to work with people from many nations.
In France, YWAM is represented by a federation of associations :
Jeunesse En Mission-France (JEM France).
Jeunesse En Mission-Champagne is integral part of JEM France. We are located in the region of « Champagne », in a base which is 2 hours away from Paris and 1 hour away from Reims (indicated on the map). We offer trainings (schools, seminaries, workshops), opportunities to get involved and serve, and our facilities allow large possibilities of welcoming groups.
